Biography:
Dale joined the firm in 1978, following his graduation cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He quickly assumed leadership of our firm’s fast-growing litigation practice and is recognized today as one of Dane County’s preeminent litigators of complex business and commercial disputes. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of commercial litigation and designated as a Super Lawyer® by Law & Politics and Milwaukee Magazine in the field of business litigation. Dale was recognized in 2007 as one of only 19 Leaders in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal.

Dale has extensive experience and recognized expertise in disputes involving agriculture, dealerships and product distribution; governance and separation of shareholders, officers, partners, and employees; construction, taxation, and insurance law; and software development and technology. Dale also maintains an active business practice, including serving as general counsel to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.

Dale was named as one of Madison's best lawyers by Madison Magazine in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2007. Dale was elected and has served as President of the Dane County Bar Association during 2004-2005.
