Monica represents family law clients in a variety of matters, including divorce, child custody and placement, paternity and support issues. She is committed to working with clients to navigate challenging family situations and achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Monica also represents individuals and businesses in commercial and business litigation disputes including contract and lease disputes, construction defects and property damage claims and general civil litigation matters. She helps clients develop strategies and understand potential outcomes, and strongly advocates for her client’s best interest at every stage of the dispute.
Monica was born in Madison, but lived and worked in Germany, Washington, Illinois, and Japan before returning to Madison. While in law school, Monica was a member of the Wisconsin Law Review and Moot Court. Monica was also recognized with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Wisconsin Chapter Award for Family Law.
Monica is active in the greater Madison community. Monica is a board member of the Madison Public Library Foundation and provides pro bono representation for victims of domestic abuse in cooperation with Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS).
