Stroud, Willink & Howard is pleased to welcome Charity A. McCarthy to the firm as a member where she will practice in the areas of estate planning, trusts, and probate along with business guidance and representation. Charity enjoys working with individuals and business owners with simple to complex estate planning and business succession planning matters and she brings with her over ten years of experience working in these areas.
A Wisconsin native, Charity received her undergraduate degree from Chapman University and her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Prior to joining Stroud, Charity was a shareholder at a Madison-area law firm. Besides practicing law, Charity is a community advisor on the Attic Angel Planned and Major Gifts Committee and is involved in several professional groups, including Madison Estate Council, SW Dane Business Professionals Group, Forum of Women Estate Counselors, Dane County Bar Association, and State Bar of Wisconsin.
